Clark rode the outside around Barre’s Nick Sweet with just seven laps remaining in the 150-lap event to beat a stout field, which included NASCAR star Christopher Bell, for a career-defining victory.

Barre, VT – East Burke’s Colin Cornell made Thunder Road’s Victory Lane his home for the second straight week by taking round two of the Myers Container Services Triple Crown Series at Passumpsic Bank Night on Friday, July 12. The 17-year-old Cornell held off a last-lap charge from two-time Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger Champion Jason Woodard of Waterbury Center to go back-to-back just eight days after picking up his first Thunder Road win.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have announced the postponement of Passumpsic Bank Night due to an inclement weather forecast. The event has been rescheduled for Friday, July 12 at 7:00pm where the evening forecast calls for clear skies.

 Passumpsic Bank Night features the second round of the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers. The Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models and Allen Lumber Street Stocks also have a full card of action. The pits for the rescheduled program open at 3:30pm and the front gates open at 5:15pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids).

Burlington’s Trampas Demers came out on top of the on-track fireworks for his 11th career Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model victory at Thunder Road’s Aubuchon Hardware Holiday Spectacular on Thursday, July 4. Demers inherited the lead when Stephen Donahue and Christopher Pelkey tangled racing for the top spot with five laps to go. He then held off a late charge from Barre’s Cody Blake for the Independence Day victory.
