The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and its sanctioned tracks will all be fueled by Sunoco beginning in the 2020 season. New England Racing Fuel, the official New England distributor of Sunoco race fuels, has signed a multi-year agreement to make Sunoco the Official Fuel of ACT, Barre, VT’s Thunder Road Speedbowl, and N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP).

Barre, VT – For more than 30 years, the Allen Lumber Company has been a fixture at Thunder Road. As the entitlement sponsor of the Street Stock division, they have overseen hundreds of drivers either on their way through the ranks or who have found a home in the entry-level class. Thunder Road recognized their role in the track’s history this off-season by awarding Allen Lumber and Burnie Allen with the Ken Squier Award.

The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced the point system for the inaugural New England Late Model Challenge Cup (NELMCC) presented by American Racer. The $3,000-to-win weekly racing championship will use a unique system that rewards drivers for their feature event performances based on finishing position, field size, and positions gained.

Barre, VT – No matter whether you’re racing in the NASCAR Cup series or a local entry-level division, being a champion is a big deal. Hometown racer Jeffery Martin can attest to that, as the 31-year-old Barre veteran was overcome with emotion on September 22 after securing the 2019 Allen Lumber Street Stock championship. Martin is in his second go-round in the Street Stock ranks after winning multiple races in the early 2010s, and he wrapped up the decade in style by holding off 2014 division champion Tommy “Thunder” Smith for the crown.

The 38-year-old veteran was already at the Thunder Road Banquet of Champions to celebrate his 8th-place finish in Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model points – and got another reason to celebrate when he was surprised with the 2019 Thunder Road Sportsmanship Award.

Barre, VT – Over the past three years, the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers have returned to prominence as one of the best middle divisions in North America. The 2019 season was a big year for the class, with 12 different winners, five first-time winners, and an average of nearly 27 cars per event in attendance. However, in the end, there was no stopping Waterbury Center’s Jason Woodard as he rolled to not one but two championships on the high banks.
