Barre, VT — In what was supposed to be one of the biggest events in the history of Thunder Road, Mother Nature stepped in to completely turn all plans upside down with a once-in-a-lifetime natural disaster and the subsequent federal declaration of emergency that currently exists in the State of Vermont. With approximately 10,000 people planning to come into the Central Vermont area, most of which are out of state, for the July 20th SRX Event, officials from the nationally recognized series and their broadcast partner felt it wouldn’t be appropriate for this influx of people into our devastated community.

Barre, VT — Thunder Road Officials announced today an exciting new addition to the Late Model All-Star Race set to be part of the epic Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) Event on Thursday, July 20th. Following multiple rain-outs and postponements of Thunder Road, American-Canadian Tour and White Mountain Motorsports Park qualifying events for the All-Star Race, Officials have created a Last Chance Qualifier event for any 100% supporters on the ACT Tour or weekly warriors from Thunder Road and White Mountain.

Barre, VT — Due to the severity of the flooding to our community, local businesses, racers and fans, Officials have postponed the 44th running of the Vermont Governor’s Cup by the Vermont Lottery originally scheduled for Thursday, July 13th. With well over 100 roads washed out across the area, along with flooding in homes, businesses and Thunder Road’s own office building in downtown Barre, Officials postponed the event to allow people the necessary time to assess their situations and plan accordingly. 

Barre, VT — An incredibly hot night high atop Quarry Hill in Barre, Vermont set up for one of the most hotly contested Times Argus Midseason Championships on record. All four divisions battled it out to join the wins list along with the FloRacing double purse in store to boot with the intensity as soaring as the temperatures inside their stock cars. Several stars made their mark on Thunder Road’s Midseason Championships for the first time, cementing themselves in the history books at ‘The Nation’s Site of Excitement.’

Barre, VT — Less than 24 hours after Thunder Road officials posted the 2023 Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 Rules and Entry Form, Nick Deblois strolled into the Barre, Vermont office with the first official entry. After posting a third-place finish behind New Hampshire’s Alby Ovitt and Milton’s Richie Turner in last year’s edition of The People’s Race’, the Barre native is ready to keep the $3,000 check here at home in Central Vermont!

Barre, VT — With excitement at the tipping point on Saturday, the weather has forced Thunder Road officials to postpone Sunday’s Preston’s Kia Independence Night Spectacular program in it’s entirety to Sunday, July 30th. Originally scheduled for Sunday, July 2nd, the certainty of rain clouding over the Independence Night Spectacular pushed officials to make the move. Preston’s Kia Holiday Fireworks Spectacular has now been moved to Sunday, July 30th.
