Austin Beers Collects First Thunder Road Win with Exciting Monaco Mod Finish

Barre, VT – While a heavy fog and mist started off the day, Mother Nature finally changed her way for Northern New England race fans on Sunday afternoon at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. Thirty-three Maplefields/Irving Late Models filed into the Thunder Road pit area with officials opting to start all cars for the 62nd Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic.

Barre, VT – Following the rain postponement of the Community Bank 150 to June 1, the Thunder Road faithful are ready to return to the Nation’s Site of Excitement this Sunday, May 25 to kick off the 2025 season with the 62nd Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic! The Maplefields/Irving Late Models will go for 125 laps to see whose name is added to the granite monument and who will lead off the second annual Squier Cup Triple Crown presented by Milton CAT!

Barre, VT – Thunder Road Speedbowl and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials announced this morning that the 27th annual Community Bank 150, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 4, has been postponed due to the forecast. The Community Bank 150 has been moved to Sunday, June 1 with all four originally-scheduled divisions. All Pit Passes purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored on June 1, teams must keep and present them at the gate as their rain-check.
