THIS WEEKEND: One of the biggest stock car racing events of the year comes to Barre’s Thunder Road: The 41st Annual Coca-Cola Labor Day Classic! Come Saturday for a North East Mini Stock Tour invasion plus long-distance showdowns for your local Street Stocks and Road Warriors. And then come Sunday to see the stars and cars of the American Canadian Tour Late Models, the Flying Tigers, and the first annual Road Warrior Challenge! The doubleheader begins on Saturday at 6PM—where admission for the trio of four-cylinder showdowns is just $10 for adults and $3 for kids age 6-12—and rolls right into a 1:30 Sunday post time for the Labor Day Classic, where admission will be $25 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under. Are you ready for the best fireworks in the region? Come on down to Barre, VT's Thunder Road for the most spectacular show around, on and off the track! A full card of door-to-door stock car racing action will be on deck starting at 7PM, with a mind-blowing display from Northstar Fireworks to follow.
