Some people in Vermont are big fans of “fresh tracks” in the winter. We like our version a little better.
Marvin Galarneau has worked at Thunder Road for over a decade, and in racing far longer than that. What makes the Milk Bowl so special to him? “It’s two things really. The segment racing we do for this race is unlike any other race in the country, and it makes it so much more exciting and gives everybody a fair chance. But the second is just this place. The views from this facility in the fall are unlike anywhere else, and it’s part of what makes this event so special. Sometimes I think about if races could be better, but could the Milk Bowl be better? No, it couldn’t.”
Thunder road Co-Owner Cris Michaud thanked his drivers for a “hell of a year” in the final drivers meeting of 2018. A former Milk Bowl winner himself, he reminded those in attendance of the history and tradition of this race, and wished them good luck in what should be a wild show. Get here at 1pm for all the action!
Thunder Road is getting its last bit of calm before the storm. The toughest short track race in America will roll off this exact place at 1pm today.
