What are your favorite non-racing hobbies?

Hanging out with friends and family, watching sports, and just kind of taking it easy. I don’t have a lot of hobbies outside of racing, actually. Outside of work and working on the race car, I just like kicking back with friends, family, and my dog. I know it sounds lame, but those are probably my hobbies outside of racing.

What do you do for work?

I supervise the parts department at Milton CAT. They’re a heavy equipment dealer for Caterpillar in Richmond, VT. I’ve been there for going on seven years.

What are your favorite non-racing hobbies?

I enjoy hunting and fishing, and I drive four-wheelers. I don’t do that much for other hobbies though, because I’m usually busy with work or racing.

What do you do for work?

We have a family farm (L&L Farm) that milks 120 cows using robotic milkers. I tend to the cows, and during the summer I do a lot of field work – haying and such. Of course there’s a lot of barn chores to do as well.

What are your favorite non-racing hobbies?

Hunting obviously, and golf. I’m a big-time golfer.

How long have you been golfing?

10 years, since I last quit racing. This year I played four or five times, but before that, in the 10 years I wasn’t racing, I would play probably 30 times a year. It didn’t me long to drop the golf clubs and put on the racing shoes though.

What are your favorite non-racing hobbies?

This time of year, hunting for sure. I enjoy fishing in the wintertime as well – I don’t do a lot of fishing in the summertime because I’ve got my hands pretty well tied up with racing, but I do like ice fishing when I can. I also like carpentry work. I usually get into a kick in the wintertime where I like do little projects and stuff like that. It usually keeps me pretty busy.

What sort of carpentry projects do you do?

It’s usually little household stuff. Last year I built a big picture frame for my brother (Tom) and my sister-in-law for Christmas that had a bunch of little pictures of when they had just barely had their baby. It was a cool little Christmas gift to put together. I like reusing old wood, so I was able to collect some pallets over time, chop them apart, and make something cool out of it. I enjoy doing that.
