Thunder Road has officially released the 2019 racing schedule for the 60th season of competition at “The Nation’s Site of Excitement”. The 19-event season includes many events the track is known for along with new additions that promise even more thrills.

Thunder Road Speedbowl honored the top performers of the 2018 season at the annual Banquet of Champions at the Barre Elks Club on Saturday, November 3. A packed house was on hand to commemorate the 59th season at “The Nation’s Site of Excitement”, which featured some of the greatest moments and accomplishments in the track’s history.

Who had the most podium finishes at Thunder Road this year? Who’s making their way up the all-time wins list? Who was the best family duo? And just how young is young when it comes to racing, anyway? We’ve found the answers to those questions and many more by looking at some of the numbers that mattered the most during the 2018 Thunder Road season! We know there are a lot of statheads out there, but we think everyone will get a kick out of these facts and figures. (Here’s a preview: the numbers 4 and 9 both come up a lot. Thunder Road announced today they have elected to end the 2018 Twin State Street Stock Series season after multiple weather-related postponements of the scheduled finale. The point standings for the series are now final with Barre’s Jeffrey Martin being declared the champion.

Next month, the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank will make its national television debut. Thunder Road Speedbowl, American-Canadian Tour (ACT), Speed51.com, and MAVTV Motorsports Network officials announced today that the event will have its world broadcast premiere Wednesday, November 7 at 7:00pm as part of the network’s “Speed51’s Short Track America” series.
