Barre, VT – Hometown racer Jeffrey Martin won a thriller in the Allen Lumber Street Stock feature on Casella Waste Systems Night before rain cut the rest of the program short. Martin got the advantage on Wolcott’s Jamie Davis during a green-white-checkered shootout and edged him in a photo-finish for his second win of the season.

Thunder Road officials have announced that Casella Waste Systems Night has been postponed to Friday, June 14 at 7:00pm due to a rainy forecast. The event was originally scheduled to be the Thursday night opener on June 13.
As a result, Thunder Road will race on Friday night for the second straight week. The schedule of events for Casella Waste Systems Night includes a full card of championship racing for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Tigers, and Allen Lumber Street Stocks.The pits open at 3:30pm and the front gates open at 5:15pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids).
