Barre, VT — One of Thunder Road’s most iconic, and highest paying, races has received a new title sponsor for 2022. Williston, Vermont’s New England Federal Credit Union has signed on to bring the ACT Late Model Tour down for 200 laps of door-to-door action during the 44th annual Labor Day Classic.

Headquartered in Williston, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) serves the communities of twelve Vermont counties: Addison, Bennington, Caledonia, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Rutland, Washington, Windham, and Windsor; and four counties in New Hampshire: Cheshire, Grafton, Merrimack, and Sullivan.

Barre, VT — The 60th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank just got even more exciting after officials announced today that the purse for the iconic event has swelled to over $100,000. Along with an increase for top finishers and in lap money, the Milk Bowl qualifying ‘Triple-50’ heat races will once again feature a separate purse structure for the top ten runners. Two possible bonuses and contingency partners have also come together to help celebrate the 60th Vermont Milk Bowl to the tune of a $103,100 total posted awards.

Barre, VT — The familiar #48 of the ‘Tampa Tornado,’ Robbie Crouch, is ready to make some more blistering laps at Thunder Road International Speedbowl for the first time in over a decade. Evan Hallstrom will pilot the Crouch-owned machine joining the stiff Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model competition on several outings in 2022.
