After drying the track, the Thunder Road faithful again put on another stellar showcase of auto racing on the Barre highbanks, each vying for the FloRacing double purse on Vermont Tire & Service Night.

Barre, VT — The chilly temperatures filling the air lately have Thunder Road officials looking towards the beautiful fall foliage and autumn atmosphere, which can only mean one thing; The 61st Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank is just around the corner and officials have released the Official Entry Blank and Lap Sponsor Form for fans, drivers and sponsors to prepare themselves for the largest annual stock car racing spectacle in the State of Vermont on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st. Barre, VT — Thunder Road is back in action this Thursday, August 17th for Vermont Tire & Service Night featuring the second FloRacing Double Purse of the season for all four divisions plus the family-favorite Kids Poster Contest! Kiddos are encouraged to create a poster of their favorite Thunder Road drivers with trophies given out for the top-three posters in three separate divisions: Ages 5 and under, 6 to 10 and 10 and up!

Barre, VT — While officials remained optimistic at the conclusion of yesterday's racing program, the weatherman was once again unkind to Thunder Road on Saturday morning. With a forecasted weather pattern similar to the one that pushed Thursday’s postponement, Thunder Road officials have made the difficult decision to hold off and postpone the McGee Hyundai of Barre program to a new Super Friday date on Friday, September 1st.

Corey Martin Cruises to Road Warrior Challenge Victory

Barre, VT — With skies far clearer than they were just twenty-four-hours before, Thunder Road International Speedbowl roared to life for Nolato Night on Friday. Two first-time winners graced victory lane high atop Quarry Hill for the first time on a stellar Friday night of racing.

Barre, VT — It wouldn’t be a Thursday in Central Vermont, in the summer of 2023, without the threat of rain and today is certainly no different. With rain forecasted to come into the greater Barre area right at Thursday’s Thunder Road post time of 7:00pm and staying through to Midnight tonight, officials opted to play it safe and move the Nolato Night program to tomorrow, Friday, August 11th.

The original schedule will be transferred to Friday’s new date with Pit Gates opening at 3:00pm, Grandstands opening at 5:00pm and racing set to begin at 7:00pm. Rain checks and pit passes from August 3rd will be honored tomorrow as well.

Barre, VT — After the wild and wacky, fan-favorite Enduro 200 on Sunday, Thunder Road returns to regular service this Thursday, August 10th for Nolato GW Night. Headlined by the 5th annual Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warrior Challenge, Nolato Night will continue championship racing action for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and the rk Miles Street Stocks as they contest their second round of the three-in-a-row Triple Crown!
