Thunder Road officials announced today that country artist Tim Brick has been added to the schedule of events at the Barre Pro Rodeo. The Tim Brick Band will perform at the track on Saturday, October 6 at 6:00pm following the conclusion of the day’s Rawhide Rodeo events.

The Barre-based musician is a 2-time Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) nominee for Best Country Male Artist. Brick’s most recent album, 2017’s “Just Passin’ Through,” received the Tammie Award for Best Country Album. His music has been described as “raw, real and genuine to the core” and “(reflecting) a soulful edge that isn’t afraid to get rowdy.”

Brick’s show will be open to everyone who has a general admission ticket to either the Saturday or Sunday rodeo competitions. It will also be open to the staff of the Rawhide Rodeo Company. Those with Sunday rodeo tickets will be admitted to the track for the performance beginning at 5:30pm on Saturday, October 6. The exact location of the show will be weather-dependent.

“Tim is a really talented musician, and his style is a good fit for this kind of event,” Thunder Road co-owner Cris Michaud said. “We think this will add a lot to the rodeo experience. It’s also a great opportunity for a local musician to showcase his work in front of a large rodeo crowd. We’re looking forward to seeing Tim and his band perform.”
