Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have officially set the dates to make up the remainder of the Casella Waste Systems Night card that was cut short by rain on June 14. Both the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and the Maplewood/Irving Late Models will have “double feature” nights in the coming weeks, adding bonus racing and excitement for Thunder Road fans.
The Flying Tigers will run the remainder of their Casella feature this Thursday, June 20 at 7:00pm as part of NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night. Their main event last Friday was halted by rain with 19 of the 40 laps complete.
The final 21 laps take the green flag at 7:00pm sharp. Milton’s Sam Caron will lead the field onto the track followed by Kyle Streeter and Chris Chambers. A full NorthCountry card of Flying Tiger qualifying and main event action will follow later in the evening.
The Late Models now have double features set for Community College of Vermont (CCV) Night on Thursday, June 27 at 7:00pm. Their 50-lap Casella feature opens the night’s schedule with the regular CCV program to follow. Danville’s Tyler Cahoon and Middlesex’s Josh Demers will start on the front row after last Friday’s qualifying set the line-up.
