Community College of Vermont Ready for 2nd Annual Superstars of Thunder Road Double Feature Night plus Fan-Favorite Kids Rides!
/Barre, VT – The time has come for the action-packed, second annual Superstars of Thunder Road Double Feature Night presented by the great folks at the Community College of Vermont! All four of Thunder Road’s weekly divisions are sure to pack the pit area Thursday with double features set to impact the championship chase in a big way plus fan-favorite Kid’s Rides starting at 3:30pm on Thursday!
Double Features means double the laps, a double chance at the purses and double the opportunity to win at the Nation’s Site of Excitement on Community College of Vermont Night. A three-peat of former champions in Jason Corliss, Sam Caron and Dean Switser Jr. all lead the championship chase for their respective divisions but Double Features could shake up everything on Thursday.
With consistency already being the name of the game for Maplefields/Irving Late Model drivers like Marcel Gravel and Brandon Lanphear, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger pilots Brendan Moodie, Logan Powers and Cameron Ouellette and rk Miles Street Stock hot-shoes Jamie Davis, Kyler Davis, Ryan Foster and Nate Brien, it could all come together for these close outliers while spelling disaster for the point leaders.
One year ago, three drivers in Nick Copping, Kylee Potter and Chris LaForest took their first wins in their respective divisions on the Superstars of Thunder Road Double Feature night while a gaggle of veterans also made the victory lane appearance. Simply said, Community College of Vermont night is anyone’s game! With the weekly handicap quickly turned around to set the second feature, there is sure to be strategy abound for drivers in all divisions to make the most of Thursday’s opportunity.
Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl roars back to life this Thursday, June 26 for Community College of Vermont Double Features Night! The 2nd annual Superstars of Thunder Road twin features are back for the Maplefields/Irving Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors with a special 6:30pm Post Time. Community College of Vermont Night also features the annual Kids Rides with the racers from 3:30pm to 4:15pm.
Adult General Admission is set at $20, kids 12-6 are $5 and, as always, children 5 and under are free! The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) is also available on Thursday for $40. Grandstands open at 3:30pm, Practice starts at 4:30pm and Racing starts at 6:30pm.
