Flying Tigers Wrap Up 9th Myers Container Triple Crown with Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100

Barre, VT – Thursday brings yet another historic day to the Nation’s Site of Excitement as the 9th Myers Container Service Triple Crown champion is set to be crowned as the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers are gunning for 100 laps to headline Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night.

The Myers Container Service Triple Crown has been a staple of Thunder Road since 2017 and remains a coveted prize for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers. In the eight previous editions, there has not been a repeat Triple Crown champion and 2025 is shaping up to continue that trend. At the moment, Milton’s Robert Gordon leads the Myers Container standings going into Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night with a who’s-who of Flying Tiger top runners including Brendan Moodie, Cameron Ouellette and Sam Caron all tied for second just four points back while Logan Powers in sixth is the highest former triple crown champion on the current leaderboard.

The Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 also has championship implications for the ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series as Round #1 following May’s White Mountain Motorsports Park opener. Jason Woodard currently leads those marks with Caron, Powers, Mike Martin and Eric Messier currently making up the top five in series standings.

The Maplefields/Irving Late Models return for their 50-lap Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac trophy dash on Thursday. Jason Corliss continues to lead the standings but has fallen off in recent weeks, taking home an eleventh place finish last week. Last week’s winner Chris Roberts has sold his mount and is moving into the Flying Tiger ranks when time allows while Darrell Morin, Justin Prescott and Cody Blake proved to be last week’s biggest movers.

rk Miles Street Stock point leader Kyler Davis was in hot water last week when his motor expired in practice before jumping aboard the Kasey Collin’s machine for the night’s racing action. Davis was able to muster a top-10 finish but the story continues to be rookie Hayden Bushey. The Fairfax youngster took down yet another Noyle Johnson Insurance hardcharger $50 bonus last week, another top-10 finish and now finds himself tied with Flyin’ Fred Fleury for second in the championship standings!
