Barre’s Jason Corliss continues to lead the Maplefields/Irving Late Models in the hunt for his fourth King of the Road track championship. So far in 2025, Corliss has been unable to beat the Thunder Road handicap based on points, his only win coming with the ACT Plus/Minus handicapped Vermont Governor’s Cup in July. Corliss will make another try for the top spot this Thursday alongside the likes of Christopher Pelkey, Marcel Gravel and Kaiden Fisher before the local stars prepare their mounts to face the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour for the EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic this Sunday afternoon.

Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger point leader Sam Caron took a hit during last week’s Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100, his first finish outside the top ten all season long! The hiccup has allowed Barre’s Cameron Ouellette to get within thirty-points of Milton’s Caron with just three point counting events remaining in 2025. Ouellette and Northfield’s Cooper French remain the only drivers among the top ten without a win this season and both have picked up speed recently in preparation for Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night!

Berlin’s Kyler Davis continues to prove his mettle in the rk Miles Street Stocks, taking home 3rd last week with a rebuilt engine to keep his name atop the charts. The four-cylinder masters of Thunder Road will run for another 25-lap trophy dash on Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night with what could be a night of redemption for the youth group of the rk Miles Street Stocks including Walker Fitch, TJ Haggett, Hayden Morris and Keegan Tabor.

The Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors also return on Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night. Most similar to the street cars set to invade for the annual Run-What-U-Brung spectator drags, the only differences include the removal of glass and the installation of a roll-cage for the Road Warrior class!
