Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Headlines Stacked EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic Showdown this Sunday

Barre, VT – Coming off a successful doubleheader weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway just one week ago, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to Thunder Road International Speedbowl for the 47th EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic 200! The annual holiday special will bring the top Late Model pilots from across New England and Quebec to compete in the 200-lap affair while the New England Pro-4 Modifieds also invade for a five-division card complete with the Flying Tigers, Street Stocks and Road Warriors!

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is well prepared for their second visit of the 2025 season with Raphael Lessard looking to better his finish by two spots and become the first Canadian in fifteen years to take the Labor Day Classic. Kaiden Fisher would love nothing more than to keep the honors in Vermont and make it a bookending win to join with June’s 150 lapper. Fellow Vermonters Christopher Pelkey, Taylor Hoar, Stephen Martin, Brandon Gray and Jesse Switser will attempt to do the same while Granite Staters Gabe Brown, DJ Shaw, Erick Sands, Bay Staters Derek Gluchacki, Cole Littlewood and Quebec’s Jonathan Bouvrette and Remi Perreault are among those looking to take the $5,000 check out of the Green Mountain State.

Thursday’s racing did not shake up the point standings for either the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers or the rk Miles Street Stocks with Sam Caron and Kyler Davis continuing to lead their respective divisions. This late in the season, many drivers are aware of their capabilities with several set to hunt trophies in the closing events. Keep an eye out as desperation settles in with a roster of drivers in all divisions looking to nab their win before the leaves fall and snow settles in.

The New England Pro-4 Modifieds returned to Thunder Road last season after more than a decades hiatus and return again this Labor Day weekend. These are slightly scaled down from their Tour-type cousins seen on Memorial Day with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series, relying on more economical four-cylinder engines but put on just as competitive racing.
