Competition Heats Up for 41st Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200; Early Entries Due July 17
/Barre, VT – Less than a month away from the 41st annual edition, competition is heating up for the Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 on Sunday, August 3. The People’s Race is the biggest opportunity for the armchair racers to get off the concrete grandstands, the grassy knoll of Bud Hill or their cozy barcaloungers at home and take on the Nation’s Site of Excitement themselves all for a chance at glory, bragging rights and the $3,000 grand prize!
Topping the early entry list so far is a celebrity driver returning home to Barre’s highbanked oval for his first enduro in year’s he’d rather not count! It’s the longtime voice of Thunder Road, Sirius XM and Motor Racing Network sportscaster Dave Moody returning to the Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 in a car presently under construction by Brandon Gray in his East Thetford shop!
Among the other celebrity early entries include the Frickin Chicken Brodie Frazier, longtime bridesmaids Nick Deblois and Jerry Davis and frequent Road Warrior flier Jason Stewart.
The Early Entry for the Bolduc Metal Recycling is available online at www.thunderroadvt.com/forms and they are also available at the Pit Gate on event days. The $50 early entry deadline is Thursday, July 17, entries will still be accepted at the $100 late pricing until 5:00pm on the day of the event, Sunday, August 3.
Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl is back in action Thursday, July 10 for Vermont Construction Night headlined by Round #2 in the Myers Container Service Flying Tiger Triple Crown. The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers will go for 75 laps alongside the Maplefields/Irving Late Models, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors with a 7:00pm Post Time.
