Ryan Preece & Brad Keselowski Visit Thunder Road for Vermont Lottery Governors Cup

Barre, VT – NASCAR stars Ryan Preece and Brad Keselowski are both set to return to Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Thursday, August 20 for the 47th Vermont Lottery Governor’s Cup 150! NASCAR Cup Series winner Ryan Preece will be behind the wheel in search of the Governor’s Cup win while 2012 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Brad Keselowski will be on hand for an autograph session and to cheer on his driver of the #60 Ford Mustang!

Berlin, Connecticut’s Ryan Preece will attempt his second Vermont Lottery Governor’s Cup run after impressing to a 10th-place finish in the annual event back in 2021. The NASCAR Cup Series winner will look to surpass his career-best and go for the win. Preece also has the chance to become the highest finishing NASCAR ringer if he can surpass Ken Schrader’s record 6th-place finish set back in 2006.

Preece’s boss Brad Keselowski is also no stranger to Thunder Road, taking home an 18th-place run in the Vermont Lottery Governor’s Cup four years ago. While he’s unable to race, Keselowski still wanted to return to Thunder Road for some legendary Thursday night racing! Brad will also join Ryan for an autograph session on Thursday, prior to RFK Racing's busy NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Thunder Road is back in action this Thursday, August 6 for NBT Bank Night featuring the Road Warrior Challenge! 50 laps on the board for the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors plus the Maplefields/Irving Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks amid their Alera Group Triple Crown! Thursday’s Post Time is set for 7:00pm!
